Barstool Sports founder Dave Portnoy records ‘corona rant time’ slamming Governors closing down cities

Dave Portnoy, founder of Barstool Sports, went on a quite epic video rant via his Twitter tonight. He slammed Governors that are keeping states closed, calling it ‘political’, and urged them to allow people to go back to work.

President Trump advised Thursday that researchers were looking at the effects of disinfectants on the Wuhan virus and wondered aloud if they could be injected into people, saying the virus “does a tremendous number on the lungs, so it would be interesting to check that.”

Trump’s exact quote while asking Dr. Birx: “And is there a way we can do something like that, by injection inside or almost a cleaning,” Trump said. “Because you see it gets in the lungs and it does a tremendous number on the lungs. So it would be interesting to check that. So, that, you’re going to have to use medical doctors with. But it sounds — it sounds interesting to me.”



President Trump savagely roasted Washington Post reporter Philip Rucker on Thursday for questioning whether he was telling people to go outside.

What happened: Bill Bryan, head of the Department of Homeland Security’s science and technology division, discussed findings of a collaborative study on the coronavirus.

“Our most striking observation to date is the powerful effect that solar light appears to have on killing the virus, both surfaces and in the air. We’ve seen a similar effect with both temperature and humidity as well, where increasing the temperature and humidity or both are generally less favorable to the virus,” he said. Bryan said their findings should not take away from the guidelines set forth by the White House and CDC for people to protect themselves.

Lady Gaga shared her praise for the WHO head during a press conference for the “One World: Together at Home” fundraising concert, which was took place Saturday evening (April 18). She said she has seen a “singular, kind global community” being formed during the pandemic, and she urged international citizens to join together and support the WHO for its coronavirus response.


Dr. Phil McGraw, psychologist, author and host of “Dr. Phil,” appeared on “The Ingraham Angle” Thursday to discuss how the American people are dealing with stress and depression during the ongoing lockdown due to the coronavirus pandemic.

What he said: “But look, the fact of the matter is we have people dying, 45,000 people a year die from automobile accidents, 480,000 from cigarettes, 360,000 a year from swimming pools, but we don’t shut the country down for that. But yet we are doing it for this and the fallout is going to last for years because people’s lives are being destroyed.”


Kanye West in an interview with GQ, said he’ll be casting his first-ever ballot vote in the 2020 presidential election, for President Donald Trump.

What Kanye said: “I will not be told who I’m gonna vote on because of my color,” West told the magazine. “I’m definitely voting this time. And we know who I’m voting on.”

On being able to have his own opinion: “I was told my career would end if I wasn’t with [Hillary Clinton],” he continued. “What kind of campaign is that, anyway? That’s like if Obama’s campaign was ‘I’m with black.’ What’s the point of being a celebrity if you can’t have an opinion? Everybody make their own opinion! You know?”
