On November 7, Donald Trump Jr. and Kimberly Guilfoyle appeared on ABC’s daytime talk show, The View. Trump Jr. was booked to promote his new book Triggered. However, seeing as he is the son of President Trump, and The View is dominated by Leftist groupthink — with Meghan McCain being the only voice of reason —why would they show him an ounce of respect. After all, he and Ms. Guilfoyle were the guests booked on the show, so naturally, the hosts would take any opportunity they can to be outright insidious to them.
During the segment, Meghan McCain asked Trump Jr. about his views on how his father’s rhetoric. She made the case that President Trump’s rhetoric emphasized a lack of moral character that caused severe pain to American families. Trump Jr. fielded Meghan’s questions and responded with, “He’s a counterpuncher … Conservatives haven’t been known for fighting back for a very long time. They’ve ceded ground to the Liberals and the Liberal Elites for decades by not actually fighting back.” McCain then proceeded to ask Trump Jr. that the amount of “pain” that President Trump has “inflicted” on people would not have been worth it for her.
After a brief, heartfelt exchange between McCain and Guilfoyle, in which Ms. Guilfoyle calls for reciprocal civility, Whoopi Goldberg can be heard grunting “Suck it up!” from over in her corner. She mentions that “You can’t change the past,” and proceeds to call out Senator Mitch McConnell for his advocacy on limiting President Obama to one presidential term. Isn’t it interesting how she has nothing to say about how the Left had begun their plans to oust President Trump from office nineteen minutes after inauguration unjustly? Towards the end of her rant, after only moments earlier demanding increased civility, she proclaims that “Part of being President is having a pair that can take whatever heat comes at you.”
From down the row, Joy Behar rehashes the age-old talking points of President Trump calling all Mexicans rapists, attacking the handicap, and grabbing women by the genitalia. If Joy had stepped out of her elitist citadel once and while she may have heard of how the Trump Administration has championed historic lows in Hispanic unemployment and that President Trump has signed many laws empowering women in STEM. As far as bigoted sexists go, President Trump is terrible at being both bigoted and being sexist.
And here is where the fun begins.
After Behar’s weird, tired virtue-signaling Don Jr. begins to level the ivory towers on The View’s set. He rebuttals with, “If we’re talking about bringing discourse down: Joy, you’ve worn blackface. Whoopi, you said that Roman Polanski [didn’t commit] rape-rape when he raped a child.” Both claims are, in fact, valid. Whoopi’s exact words referring to Polanski’s unlawful sex with a child were, “I know it wasn’t rape-rape. I think it was something else, but I don’t believe it was rape-rape,” and the Joy Behar blackface photo does not matter since she is, after all, a Leftist.
Additionally, we cannot forget the incredible moment when Trump Jr. slammed The View’s parent network ABC — while on air — for “chasing down all of the [Jeffrey] Epstein stuff because those stories were killed.”
The critical thing to take away from this is that Donald Trump Jr. exposed these ivory tower elitists for the hypocritical liars that they are at their cores, and when he did, they could not defend themselves at all. The Left continues to peddle hateful rhetoric upon Conservative Americans while demanding that everyone else plays by their hyper-specific and woke rules.
No human being should ever have to watch The View again, as it is complete and utter garbage, but in this instance, Americans were given a unique glimpse into the reality of the “culture war” that is unfolding before our very eyes. It does not matter how great or grand America grows, or how beautiful our nation becomes; if it is not in line with the Leftist agenda, they will hate and scorn it.
